St. Bartholomew Churchyard in Yeovilton contains 16 Commonwealth burials of the Second World War, many of them made from the Royal Naval training establishment, ‘HMS 'Heron'.
The Churchyard Extension of Yeovilton was acquired by the Admiralty in 1942 for burials of naval personnel stationed at the Royal Naval Air Station at Yeovilton. It adjoins the churchyard of St. Bartholomew, which was also used by this air station and contains a small group of naval war graves. The extension contains 22 Commonwealth war graves from the Second World War.
