Commonwealth War Cemetery Talana Farm

The cemetery was originally started by the French in April 1915, however when the British took over the norther Salient in June1915, they also took over the cemetery.
The cemetery was named after some farmhouses close by that was named after the battle of Talana Hill during the second Boer War.

The cemetery was in use until March 1918 and contains 529 Commonwealth war graves from World War I. Of these, 14 are unidentified.
