Site with various reconstructed trenches, bunkers and listening shafts. These were part of a complex built by the Germans between 1914 and the summer of 1917. Adolf Hitler fought here with his regiment during the period 16/17 November 1914. Hitler, together with three other dispatch runners, received the Iron Cross for bringing safety from their commander, Oberstleutnant Engelhardt.
