Manor of Boisjos is located at the northwestern end of Maczuga (hill 262) and towers over the exit of the Falaise pocket. During the combat of august 1944, the manor was used by the Polish troops as bastion and field hospital. On August 18, German parachutists joined a counter-attack with the 2nd SS-Pz-corps with the main goal to open a gap in the Falaise pocket. This action allowed a few thousands German soldiers to escape until the following day at noon. Despite the constant attacks, the manor was never seized by the Germans.
Today the manor remains still a private property and it is not open for visitations.
