Stalin Line - Strongpoint Gomel

This strongpoint was constructed in the '30s as part of the Stalin Line. The 508th Infantry Regiment (174th Infantry Division) was stationed here. The strongpoint saw heavy fighting from June to July 1941.

It can be visited these days. There are trenches, barriers, shelters and bunkers to exhibit.
