War Memorial Berchem Cemetery

This memorial at the Berchem cemetery commemorates the residents of Berchem who were killed or missing in World War I and World War ll.

This monument is built around a central, grieving female figure with a fallen soldier in her arms. The soldier holds something in his right hand and his helmet is on the floor.
On the pedestal of the monument are several oval memorial medallions of granite from the Royal Soldiers' Union. Flanking plaques mention the names of those killed.
