War Memorial French Soldiers Mount Kemmel

This impressive memorial on the summit of the Kemmelberg is one of the most important French memorials. It commemorates the numerous French units that fought here in April 1918. The memorial depicts a goddess of victory in Greek attire, who gazes over the mass grave and the battlefield with a saddened expression.
