French War Graves Bucharest

This plot is located on the Bellu cemetery in Bucharest and contains the graves of 119 French soldiers who fell between 1917 and 1919 in Romania.

There is also the grave of the French ex-prisoner of war Jean Louis Laurent Abadie, who escaped from a German camp in 1942 but eventually perished in the American bombardment of Bucharest in April 1944.
