Helsinki-Malmi Airport
This airport was built from 1936 to 1938 for civil use. During the Winter War (1939-1940), the Finish Air Force took over the airfield. It remained a military site during the course of the Second World War. It was taken over by the Allied Control Commission in September 1944.
