Molotov Line - heavy Casemate No.8813

This casemate was part of the Molotov Line. This defence line was built by the Soviet Union from 1940 to 1941 and saw heavy fighting during Operation Barbarossa in 1941. It still contains war damage.

The casemate is completely renovated and can be visited. There's a museum dedicated to the Battle of the Molotov line situated inside the casemate.
