MEMORIAL POLE 16 CRASH ROUTE EASTERN FLEVOLAND.

During World War II many aircraft crashed in Eastern Flevoland. During the draining of the polder, many of these aircraft were found and salvaged. In 2008 the 4 may Memorial Foundation Dronten had the idea, to register, to describe and to mark the location were the aircraft crashed with a memorial pole. This to remind the Airgunners and to make history visable.

The unveiling of the first pole was on 29 april 2011 in the Eskimolaan in Dronten.
Memorial pole 1 was the first of a total of 16 poles, which in 2011 were placed by the Foundation 4 may Memorial Dronten.
