War memorial at Hulste to commemorate the military and the civilian victims of the First and the Second World War.
Next to the monument there is a small memorial plaque on a pedestal:
"More than 30 residents of Hulste died as a result
of the gas shelling in October 1918.
We want to keep remembering them because they died
in a senseless war, and especially because we see the horror
wouldn't forget about it."
