M2A1 Howitzer 105mm

This Howitzer is located at the main road in Niederwampach, near a bus-stop.

The gun currently standing is an American 105mm M2A1 year 1939 gun. The M2A1 became one of the most widely used American anti-aircraft guns in World War II. This M2A1 is a replacement for a German sIG 33 which is now located in the Diekirch Museum.
