Maginot Line - Infantry Casemate Saint Antoine

This casemate was built between 1935 and 1939 in the Montmédy sector. The crew consisted of 38 men from the 155th RIF.
The armament of the casemate consists of three double machine guns, two 47mm anti-tank guns, three light machine guns, a GFM turret and two turrets for an Arme Mixte (two machine guns in combination with a 25mm anti-tank gun).
Following the evacuation of the Montmédy sector, the casemate was sabotaged and abandoned on the night of June 13, 1940.
