Titus Brandsma Memorial

Memorial dedicated to the Frisian priest and proffesor Titus Brandsma, who perished on 26 July 1942 in the Dachau concentration camp. During the occupation, he played one of the key roles within the Dutch Christian resistance.

The inscription on the pillar reads (in Frisian):
TITUS BRANDSMA
1881-1942
OEGEKLEASTER DACHAU.
