War Memorial Thurles

This memorial, at St. Mary's Churchyard, commemorates the residents of Thurles who were killed or missing in the Great War (World War I).

There are memorial stones at the war memorial commemorating:

- Private John Burke who gave his life on 19 October 1914 in the Great War (World War I).
- Private Thomas Moriarty who gave his life on 3 May 1916 in the Great War (World War I).
