War Memorial Laforêt

This memorial commemorates the residents of Laforêt who were killed or missed in World War I and II.

At the top of the monument is a sitting lion with a shield:
"Tribute to our brave sons"
Below are the names of those who died:
1914-1918 : CLAUDOT Victor – PIERSON Leon – CHAIDRON Alexandre
1940-1945 : MATHIEUX Fernand – SCHALLENBERG Richard

On the left the names of the deportees:
NANGNIOT Armand and Georges – PIERSON Henri and Seraphin – MESQUIN Joan and Jules – HENRY Joseph and Elie – PARIZEL Eugene and Théodule

On the right the names of the fighters:
NANGNIOT Vital and Elie – PIERRARD Joseph – BOUZIN Charles and Auguste – CHAIDRON Ernest – LOUVET Théodule – LEBAS Clement – MARTIN Remi – PARIZEL Alphonse – CLAUDOT Jean
