Memorial Tugboat Atlas V
On January 3, 1917, the tugboat Atlas V managed to escape with 103 passengers from Liège to Eijsden in the Netherlands. In Eijsden, the refugees were accommodated in the Ursulinen convent and the Eijsden castle, among other places.
At the spot where the boat moored in Eijsden, a memorial sign has also been erected to commemorate this escape.
