Tarcienne French-German War Cemetery contains 153 German, 394 French and two Russian war graves from the Great War (World War I).
Generalleutnant Prinz Friedrich von Sachsen-Meinigen is buried here. He fell at Tarcienne on 23 August 1914.
Also here a chapel and commemorative stone in memory of the French and the Germans soldiers who fell on 22, 23 and 24 August during the Battle of Charleroi.
