Belgian War Cemetery Chaudfontaine

This war cemetery contains the burials of 71 Belgian soldiers.

They were all killed on August 13th, 1914, when a German shell hit the fort's powder magazine. In the explosion and resulting fire, 71 Belgian soldiers lost their lives.

The name of the street is therefore named after this day; Rue du XIII Août.
