Tank Memorial Ypres Salient

The Tank Memorial Ypres Salient, installed on 10 October 2009, commemorates the men of the Tank Corps and of the Heavy Branch Machine Gun Corps who fell during World War I. It is the only British tank monument in Belgium. It also commemorates the only Royal Tank Regiment victim who fell in the Ypres Salient during World War II.
The monument bears an original armoured plate from a British MK4 tank.
