German War Cemetery Weeze

On this German War Cemetery (Kriegsgräberstätte) 2004 casualties of the Second World War are buries. They died during the fights in and around Weeze in 1945.

80% of Weeze was destroyed during the battle.

At the edge of the cemetery are several memorial chapels and memorial walls in memory of the victims who fell in the Second World War. The names of the 2004 victims are mentioned on the walls of the chapels or on the walls.
