Memorial Tankers Leningrad Front (KV-1 Heavy Tank)

This memorial commemorates a group of tanks of the Leningrad Front who broke through the enemy lines here on 19 January 1944 and destroyed a large German artillery position. The KV-1 heavy tank on top of the memorial was knocked out by a German AT-gun during the fighting.

The damage is still clearly visible.
