Polish War Graves Wawrzyszewski
At the Wawrzyszewski cemetery of Warsaw are the graves of 500 Polish soldiers and 53 insurgents of the Warsaw uprising (picture 2).
They are buried in a total of 111 collective graves. Major Tadeusz Makowski, recipient of the Virtuti Militari Order, is buried among his men.
