The second war memorial in Kortenaken commemorates the military and civilian victims of the Second World War.

Fallen for the Fatherland: GEENS Joseph, Mayor, Ellrich (D) January 6, 1945; PEETERS Pierre, Dora (D) 17 October 1944; PEETERS Adrien, Nordhausen 17 March 1945; VANDIJCK Jules, Falingbostel (D) January 22, 1941; JORDENS Theophiel, Baalsdorf (D) 24 Jul 1943.
War victims: DRAPS Jeanne, Tienen 6 April 1944; PEETERS Jozef, Tienen, 4 March 1946; SPAPEN Jozef, Leuven 1 May 1944; MEEUS Amelie, Aarschot 9 May 1944.

Near the memorial is a British gun howitzer 25 Pounder/105 mm SIC 2-42.
