During World War Two Musis Sacrum was a leisure centre for German soldiers. In 2005 this memorial was attached above the staircase.
The text on the memorial is: "Most people remain silent, only few take action".
On the plaque below the memorial the following text can be found: "With respect for the past and an eye on the future, this memory of the resistance in Arnhem 1940 - 1945."
