Labor Camp Schwetig

The Schwetig labor camp started use in October 1940 and was used until 30 Janary 1945, when 1600 inmates were send on a death march to the Sachsenhausen concentration camp . It is not known how many people survived this march.

The next day 70 sick inmates that had been left behind were locked in the hospital and after that the building and the rest of the camp was set on fire.
