The post office museum at Gdansk is mainly about the German assault on this building in 1939 and the following events.
The collection consists of personal belongings of the post office defenders and war documents.
In front of the museum entrance stands the post office memorial dedicated to the defenders. The building itself is marked with many bullet holes and grenade damage.
