Festung Thorn - Fort VII
This fort was built between 1879 and 1884 as component of fortress Toruń. VII is the site of mass executions during the German occupation. More than 1,500 people are executed here by the Gestapo.
The fort today:
A memorial to the Gestapo victims can be visited near the fort.
