Fort Lusern
This Austro-Hungarian fort was built from 1908 to 1912 and was heavily bombarded by the Italian army on 28 May 1915. The Italian assault was repelled by the fort and Austro-Hungarian reinforcements. After the fighting, the garrison commander was arrested for desertion.
