Memorial Execution 27 April 1945

In addition to a special tank barrier, a casemate with 7 embrasures, there is a small monument on the quay that commemorates the murder of four men who were taken from their homes during the last days of the war, separated from the women and children and shot down.

Their names were:
Lambertus Antonius Herder
Nicolaas Hubertus van der Salm
Johannes Wessels
Pieter Wessels

Killed April 27, 1945

The memorial is located on private property.
