Castle Artstetten

This castle was used as summer seat by the Austro-Hungarian Habsburg dynasty. It houses the Archduke Franz Ferdinand Museum. Franz Ferdinand and his wife who were assassinated on 28 June 1914 are entombment here. Their assassination sparked the tension that eventually resulted in the First World War.
There is also attention for the navy of Austria - Hungary.
