Fort "Malakoff"

Fortress "Malakoff" was built between 1857 and 1860.

During the siege of Glogow in 1945, a heavy anti aircraft battery operated on top of the fort and in the last stage of the battle, "Malakoff" served as a German field hospital.

The fort today:
Fort "Malakoff" has deteriorated and is in ruins and can be visited.
