Belgian-Congolese Monument Battle of Abyssinia Gambela

This memorial has been erected in memory of the Belgian-Congolese soldiers who fought during the Battle of Abyssinia (1941). The 'Force Publique' fought during the Battle of Asosa, Gambela and Saio.

In Gambela, the memorial can be found at the cemetery. The graves of the Belgian Soldier Simonet († 15 April 1941) and the Lieutenant Lambrecht H. can be found here.
