War Memorial Birdaard

The war memorial is a reminder of three villagers who died in concentration camps. On the monument is the text:

1940 - 1945
In memory of our fellow villagers who did not return from the German terror.
Ds.R.H.Kuipers, K.Westra, C.Spijksma.
Of the residents of Birdaard - Wanswerd
