Maginot Line - Fort Bois Karre
The Maginot Line's Bois Karre fort was a part of the Secteur fortifié de Thionville.
The garrison consisted of 91 soldiers and 1 officer from the 168th RIF (Fortress Infantry Regiment). The Bois Karre fort was never subjected to a serious attack.

It is currently a museum.
