Directly adjacent to Colmar's French Nécropole National is the "Deutsche Kriegsgräberstatte 1914-1918.
It contains 868 German casualties from World War I, mainly from the fighting for the "Col de Ligne" in 1915 some 30 km west of Colmar.
In the neighbouring urban cemetery (Rue Ladhof), there are also three German dead of Jewish origin.
