"In the peace of Christ - In memory of Nicolaas Petrus de Groot who was born in Akersloot on June 10, 1923, died during the World War 1940-1945 in forced labor service, June 24, 1943 in Frankfurt am Main. Dozens of our boys and men were deported into German slave service , they returned, but without him. God always protect the parish of St. James and our dear fatherland."
