This memorial commemorates the residents of Ghyvelde who died in the First and Second World Wars.
The monument is on the square in front of the church.
On top of the column a sculpture: in the front a soldier with a rifle and flag in hand.
Behind it the statue of a victorious woman holding a laurel wreath above the flag.
