Canadian Memorial Wilnis

This memorial commemorates three Canadian airmen who died when their Vickers Wellington bomber (HE727 NA-K) crashed in a pasture at Wilnis on 5 May 1943 Three other crew members were taken prisoner-of-war.

The names of the three fallen Canadians:
Robert Moulton
Adrian Thibaudeau
Joseph White

They are buried nearby at the Dutch Reformed Cemetery in Wilnis.

At the crash location is also a memorial.
