Resistance Cross Zuilenselaan

This monument was erected in memory of three killed members of the resistance.

The names of the three victims were:
Joop Altena
Johannes Been
Johannes van Maurik

During an action on 16 April 1945 to collect dropped weapons and ammunition, on the Amsterdamsestraatweg their truck accidentally was attacked by a British fighter-bomber and exploded.
