Memorial General H.G. Winkelman
This Memorial commemorates General H. G. Winkelman, the Dutch Commander in chief of the Army and Navy, who signed the capitulation here at the Johannes Post School in Rijsoord (Ridderkerk), on 15 May 1940.
The former school is now a Museum.
