Memorial Reverend Josef Wilhelm Bernard Cohen

Reverend Josef Wilhelm Bernard Cohen, born in 1904, of Jewish origin, was one of the best-known pastors of this church.

Following a sermon on May 11, 1941 he was arrested for the first time.

On June 15, 1941 the whole sermon grid:
Acts 5 verse 29, "We must obey God rather than men."
Ds. Cohen preached on "position opposite power."

This led meant that he was again arrested. 24 september1941 came Ds. Joseph Wilhelm Bernard Cohen to Dachau, where he died on May 23, 1942.
