During the First World War, in 1916, Belgian war refugees were housed in Concordia.
In World War II the Germans occupied the theater under the motto "Kraft Durch Freude" for their performances.
Also, the N.S.B. presented their propaganda performances in Concordia.
On 29 october 1944, when Breda was liberated, the Allies celebrated in City Theatre Concordia.
Concordia Theatre was closed in 1994.
