There are four plaques in the Karlskirche commemorating the First World War.
The first one commemorates the soldiers of the Dragoner-Regiment Erzhertog Albrecht No.9 who were killed or missing in the Great War (World War I).
The second one commemorates the K.u.K. Dragoner Regiment Nr. 12, which existed from 1631 to 1918.
The third one commemorates the soldiers of the K.u.K. Ulanen Regiment Nr. 7 who were killed or missing in the Great War (World War I).
The fourth one commemorates the soldiers of the K.u.K. Dragoner Regiment Nr. 15 who were killed or missing in the Great War (World War I).
