Memorial 1st Polish Army Warsaw

This memorial is on the occasion of the twentieth anniversary of the battle of Lenino (1943) erected. The 8 meter high statue of a figure in uniform, with helmet and a machine pistol on the chest, represent a LWP (Ludowe Wojsko Polskie) soldier. The inscription on the stone reads:
"1943 – Lenino, Warszawa, Kolobrzeg, Berlin – 1945"
