Stützpunkt E696 - 622 - Doppelgruppenunterstand
This Stützpunkt was part of the German Atlantic Wall (Atlantikwall).
During the war there was a railway battery here: E696 with 2 x 280mm L / 40 Kurze Bruno cannons. They stood there since 1942 but disappeared in late August early September 1944, just before the siege of Dunkirk.
