War Memorial Merchtem

The memorial in honor of the military and civilian war victims of the First World War, also pays tribute to the fallen of the Second World War.

Two commemorative plates are attached to each side of the plinth, namely the original plates with the victims of the First World War on the upper part and smaller plates with the victims of the Second World War on the base.
