Stützpunkt Norbert - Vf HWB

This Stützpunkt was part of the German Atlantic Wall (Atlantikwall).

In February 1943, the second Batterie, Heeresküstenartillerieabteilung 827 was installed here with six French 155mm guns, model 418 (f) and a searchlight with a diameter of 60cm. In late 1943 she got a searchlight with a diameter of 150cm. The secondary armament consisted of one Czech 76,2mm field gun, two 50mm tank guns, two 20mm Flak's, one mortar and two machine guns. The entire crew consisted of three officers, 23 NCOs and 106 men. The fire control was arranged from Widerstandsnest Nanni, which was closer to the coast.
