Remains Szeged Railway Bridge

During the Second World War this railway bridge was of of great economic importance for the Axis powers. The bridge was bombed three times by the Allies Airforce and eventually blowed up by retreating German forces on 6 October 1944. Today a plaque attached on the remains of the railway bridge commemorates this event.
